New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez hit this baseball for the 650th home run of his Major League career on August 26, 2013 against the Toronto Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre. Rodriguez led off the top of the fifth inning against Blue Jays starter R. A. Dickey and crushed an 0-1 knuckleball off the wall behind the Toronto bullpen in right field. While the Yankees lost that day, 5-2, A-Rod’s career continued into the 2016 season.

All told, the multi-talented Rodriguez played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball for the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and New York Yankees. He retired with 696 career home runs, a .295 batting average, over 2,000 RBI, over 2,000 runs scored, over 3,000 hits, and over 300 stolen bases, the only player in MLB history to achieve all those feats.

Presented is an Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball. Rodriguez has signed the sweet spot in blue pen (there is slight bleeding of the signature). The baseball displays moderate use with some scuff marks.  This historic baseball comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (EK661325), who state that this ball was recovered by David Robertson and turned over to Jen McMahon, Blue Jays CSR, presented as genuine to authenticator Tom Russell. This baseball also comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
