CC Sabathia threw a complete game against his former team, allowing four earned runs while striking out nine Indians to get his sixth win of the 2013 season. One of the most durable pitchers in the game, Sabathia currently sits second on the active list for pitcher wins.

     Mariano Rivera, perhaps grateful for an extra day of rest signed this Allan H. Selig Official Major League baseball on the sweet spot. Rivera, playing his final season in the Majors, finished the 2013 season with 44 saves and a 2.11 ERA.
