Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis wore this black alternate home jersey on May 17th, 2013, during the Orioles 12-10 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. Davis went 2-4, plating two runners in the first inning with an RBI single before doubling, and scoring on Matt Wieters’ subsequent single, in the eighth. Davis had the best year of his career by far in 2013, leading the Major Leagues in home runs (53), RBI (138), and total bases (370), while making the first All-Star team of his career.

This black, button down jersey has “Orioles” sewn across the chest in orange and black tackle twill. Davis’ number “19” is sewn on the left chest and back in orange and black tackle twill. “DAVIS” is sewn across the back shoulders orange and black tackle twill below a MLB logo patch. An Orioles logo patch with an interior design based on the Maryland state flag is sewn on the left sleeve above a white Majestic logo, while a memorial patch for Hall of Fame manager Earl Weaver is sewn on the right sleeve. A Majestic size “50” tag has been applied to the front left tail of the jersey, and a “COOL BASE” flag is attached to the side. Davis has signed the “9” digit on the back, inscribing “Game Used” and “2013” in addition to the signature. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 174370), which dates the use of this jersey to the May 17th game and authenticates the signature.
