After a decade in Seattle, Ichiro Suzuki suited up for the New York Yankees. In just two and a half years in New York, Ichiro would add over 300 hits to his tally, edging him ever closer to the rarified plateau of 3,000 career hits.
This Mizuno Pro AO model bat was cracked on the handle after an at-bat against Tampa’s Matt Moore in the top of the fourth inning of the May 25th game and shows outstanding use. There is a healthy coat of pine tar on the upper handle many ball marks and stitch impressions are present throughout the barrel. The future Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in silver pen adding “13 GU”. This bat comes with a full LOA from Ichiro Suzuki authenticating the signature and game use and a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK480961) authenticating the game use for the May 25th game.
