Brought on as a mentor for budding superstar point guard Jeremy Lin, grizzled 39-year-old veteran Jason Kidd signed a three-year contract with the New York Knicks in 2012 but immediately assumed the starting point guard position when Lin departed as free-agent signing with the Houston Rockets. Kidd had a pretty good season and the Knicks eclipsed the 50-win mark for the first time since the 1999-2000-season but fizzled in the playoffs. Kidd wore this pair of size-2XL Adidas/NBA Authentic warm up pants at the Knicks NBA London Live game on January 17, 2013. Bright shiny white pants are trimmed in blue and white stripes and have a Knicks logo patch on the right leg with Adidas and NBA logo patches on the left. Pants are mesh-ventilated at the back of the knees and rear waistband. “5@” and “London Live” are written in black marker on the Adidas/NBA manufacturer’s label on the interior waistband with “Length +2”” flag tag. Pants are accompanied by size 2XL black “Garden of Dreams” New York Knicks warm-up T-shirt and both pieces come with Steiner Sports Memorabilia LOAs # 204296 and # 192567.
