Detroit Tigers pitcher Jose Veras wore this jersey during Game 6 of the 2013 American League Championship Series against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Veras was saddled with the blown save after surrendering what would end up being the game-winning grand slam to Shane Victorino in the seventh inning. Veras struck out Dustin Pedroia after Victorino’s longball before exiting the game, an eventual 5-2 Red Sox win. Veras left the game with a line of 0.1 innings, one hit, and one run allowed. Their Game 6 win moved the Sox on to the World Series, where they beat St. Louis in six games.

This gray button-down road jersey has “Detroit” and Veras’ number “31” sewn on the chest in navy, orange, and white tackle twill. “VERAS” and his number “31” are sewn on the back of the jersey in navy, orange, and white tackle twill. A 2013 Postseason patch is sewn on the right sleeve and a MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A Majestic tag with the handwritten mark of the Tigers clubhouse manager is applied to the front left tail. A “31 48 ’13 PL 3 870” swatch is sewn below the Majestic tag. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 861718).
