When Mookie Betts was coming up through the Boston Red Sox organization, it was not his customary right field, but as a second baseman. During the 2013 season, Betts spent his last full season in the minors and used this Wilson 1788 model glove. This glove displays light game use with wear being displayed in the pocket and web face. This glove was made of Wilson’s top grade tanned steer hide and is bound with tanned rawhide laces. The webbing is a pro-style I web design and the wrist has an adjustable strap with foam padding. “Wilson” and the Wilson “W” are sewn on the back of the wrist and outer thumb respectively in black and yellow. Betts has signed his name in black marker on the outer thumb while inscribing “Rom 8:31”. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00452) for the game use and a STICKER ONLY from JSA (U19934) for the signature.
