Tampa Bay Rays right fielder Wil Myers wore this special stars-and-stripes cap during the Rays 7-5 victory over the Houston Astros on July 4^th, 2013. Myers, the 2013 American League Rookie of the Year, was playing in his 17^th career game on this Independence Day. He marked the occasion by hitting the second double of his career, a line drive down the left field line off Jose Cisneros in the top of the eighth inning. Several batters later, Yunel Escobar hit a double of his own to drive in Myers and push the score to 5-2 Rays.

This cap is a gray, size 7 ¼ New Era baseball cap with a special Rays stars-and-stripes logo on the front. A MLB logo patch is located on the back of the cap. The navy brim features Myers’ silver marker signature, as well as the inscription “2013 Game Used”.
