Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts was a late-season call-up in 2013, playing 18 regular season games. The then 20-year-old’s play was good enough to make the postseason roster as the Red Sox defeated Tampa Bay, Detroit and St. Louis en route to their third World Series title in 10 seasons. Bogaerts wore this navy New Era 59Fifty Boston Red Sox cap during the 2013 World Series. The classic “B” is in raised red and white on the front of the cap and the MLB logo is on the back. The “2013 World Series” logo patch is sewn on the left side. On the inside of this 7 3/8 size cap is “72”, which is hand written in black marker and was the number Bogaerts wore for the Red Sox in 2013. Bogaerts signed his name in silver marker on the top of the brim and inscribed “WS GU”. This hat comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (3207) which authenticates this hat’s game use and signature.
