This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 8/9/2021
Offered is a 2014 Christian Yelich game-used and signed Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball used when the former Miami Marlins outfielder hit a triple against the Oakland Athletics on June 29, 2014. Yelich signed his name in blue pen on the sweet spot and inscribed his number "21" below his signature. Yelich slugged a triple against the A's Tommy Milone in the bottom of the first inning in Miami, and scored on a throw to third. While the A's won that game 4-3 in Marlins Park, Yellich went 1-for-4 and scored 1 run, while playing centerfield for the club that drafted him in the first round of the 2010 MLB Draft. He made his MLB debut for the Marlins in 2013, and was traded to the Brewers in the 2017-18 offseason. Yelich won a Gold Glove Award in 2014, the Silver Slugger Award in 2016, 2018 and 2019, and the National League's Most Valuable Player Award in 2018. This ball comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ119548), as well as a LOA from JSA.
