New York Yankees legend and Hall of Famer Derek Jeter used this presented locker room plate for the last time during the Yankees season-ending home stretch against the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles in 2014. The Yankees faced off against the Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium on September 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st, then faced the Baltimore Orioles at home on September 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 25th to cap off Jeter’s stellar and legendary 20-year career playing in Yankee pinstripes. Jeter, who earned the nicknames “Captain Clutch” and “Mr. November” for his stellar postseason play, retired as a five-time World Series champion, winning World Series MVP honors in 2000. This presented locker room plate resting inside a 39 x 15-inch frame was used by Jeter during the final home stretch of his career at Yankee Stadium and was signed by the 14-time All-Star and 1996 AL. Rookie of the Year. The name plate features the number “2” on the left side and the iconic interlocking “NY” Yankees logo on the left side. “New York Yankees” is labeled in gray at the top of the locker room plate. “DEREK JETER” appears in navy on the midsection of the nameplate. Jeter signed his name across the midsection of the of the nameplate with a black marker. The signature is bold, and the frame is in great condition and contains the LOA from Steiner Sports (206709) a COA from Steiner Sports for the autograph inside the frame on either side of the nameplate. The final home game series nameplate signed by Jeter comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ286381).
