Befitting his status among “Yankees Legends” Derek Jeter bowed out in memorably dramatic fashion, rapping a walk-off game winning single to defeat the Baltimore Orioles in the bottom of the ninth inning of his final game at Yankee Stadium on September 25, 2014. Three days later, rival Red Sox fans rose in unison to give Jeter a standing ovation as he stepped to the plate at Fenway Park for the first at bat of his final Major League game.

Jeter’s farewell tour provided plenty of similar Hallmark® moments along the way. This set of MLB Authenticated gray Yankees road jersey (HZ288268) and pants (HZ288269) is dated June 11, 2014 and was worn by Jeter during the middle game of the Yankees three-game series at the Seattle Mariners at Safeco Field when Jeter collected two hits to record his 3,373rd and 3,374th hits of his career in the Yankees 4-2 win over the Mariners.

This size 46 Majestic button-down gray jersey has been photo matched to the June 7th, June 10th and June 11th games and has “NEW YORK” sewn on in navy and white tackle twill across the chest with Jeter’s retired number “2” in the same navy and white tackle twill on the back, which is underneath a navy, white and gray MLB logo on the back collar. The sleeves are capped with a ribbed material navy/white/navy striping pattern and the MLB Authentic/Majestic manufacturer’s label is sewn onto the left front tail with “2014” size “46” flag tags, along with a Yankees barcode (0000004477) that has the MLB Authenticated (HZ288268) hologram and a Steiner Sports hologram (210022). This jersey shows heavy game use with large dirt stains on the front.

The matching gray uniform pants have “#2 JETER” and “35-40 36 OB ‘13” printed on MLB Authentic/Majestic manufacturer’s label on the interior waist band with MLB Authenticated (HZ288269) and a Steiner Sports hologram (210023), with a large dirt stains on the right knee and shins and other dirt marks on the upper right leg and middle left leg. There are also dirt stains on the right back rear. This historic physical memento of Jeter’s final season additionally comes with pair of Steiner Sports LOAs that correspond to the holograms on the jersey and pants, authenticating the use of the both the jersey and pants for the June 11th game. There is also a LOA from Resolution Photomatching, who have photo matched the jersey to the June 7th, June 10th and June 11th games.
