This Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball was used during the New York Yankees home game against the Toronto Blue Jays on September 18th, 2014. This was one of the final games of Derek Jeter’s career, with the Yankees captain retiring nine games later at the end of the 2014 season. The Yankees won this game 3-2 as Chase Headley knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning on a walk off error. Jeter went 2-4 in this game, launching the 260th and final home run of his career off an R.A. Dickey offering in the sixth inning. Jeter has signed this ball on the panel to the south of Selig’s stamped signature in blue pen. This ball comes with a Yankees-Steiner LOA, a Steiner Sports COA (SS021832), and a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 286281).
