Former first overall draft pick and Cy Young winner David Price moved from the Tampa Bay Rays to the Detroit Tigers in a blockbuster deal in 2014. Price made his first start for Detroit on August 5th, 2014, going a strong 8.2 innings against the New York Yankees in front of more than 40,000 raucous fans in the Bronx. Price allowed just three runs and struck out 10 Yankees as Detroit earned a 5-4 win thanks to Alex Avila’s solo home run in the top of the 12th frame. Price pitched in parts of two seasons for Detroit, compiling a 13-8 record with a 2.90 ERA for the Central Division outfit. Offered in this lot is a lineup card from Price’s Detroit debut. The lineup card comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 306030).
