It’s not often that you can find an exact photo-match for a bat used to hit a home run – but in this case you can. On June 30, 2014 George Springer used this bat to hit a two-run homer in the 1st inning against the Seattle Mariners at Minute Maid Park, during his rookie season. Photos taken of Springer during that at bat have been used to definitively match this bat to the one used to hit that homer, and the documentation is included in this lot. The Chandler GS4 model bat has a broken handle and shows moderate use. There are several white leather ball scuffs on the barrel, one of which is the home run hit on June 30th. The bat comes with a MLB Authenticated (EK887985) for the game use and full LOA from Resolution Photomatching (SG020617) for the photo-match.
