Los Angeles Angels sensation Mike Trout used this bat during the May 2, 2014 game against Texas at Angel Stadium. Trout, who was batting .316 at the time, went 1-for-5 with a pair of strikeouts during the game. The Old Hickory MT27 model bat shows excellent use with a repaired handle crack. Several ball marks with stitch impressions can be found on the barrel and the handle and knob has been taped to enhance the grip. The upper handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and the upper handle has a coat of Mota Stick. Trout has signed the barrel with the inscription “14 G/U MVP” in silver marker. The bat comes with a full GU 9 LOA from PSA/DNA (1B11237) for the game use and MLB hologram (EK314981) and Anderson Authentics LOA signed by Mike Trout for the signature. Bat was manufactured in 2013 but used in 2014 MVP season.
