After three-plus seasons, Mike Trout’s Angels finally made the playoffs. Trout and the Angels finished the regular season with a 98-64 record, winning the American League West Division. This set up the American League Division Series against the Kansas City Royals. Trout made his postseason debut on October 2nd, 2014. This offered base was used during Games 1 & 2 in the first through fifth innings. This offered base features “MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL POSTSEASON 2014” on the top and red “ALDS” plates on opposite sides, along with “2014 POSTSEASON” plates on the other two panels. Trout has signed his name in black marker to the left of the print on top of the white base and inscribed “”Post Season Debut”” to the right of the print. This base displays heavy game use with dirt stains on the top. The metal anchor is still attached. This item comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ487400), which authenticates that this base was used for first base in innings 1-5 in Games 1 & 2 of the ALDS and that Trout signed this base on July 25, 2018.
