In almost any other season in baseball history, Mike Trout would have won the 2012 and 2013 AL MVP Award. However, with Miguel Cabrera having two massive seasons, the young Angels star had to wait until his third year in the Majors to claim his fist MVP. That summer Trout hit .287 and 111 RBI along with a then career-high 37 home runs.

This Old Hickory Pro Maple MT27 model bat was used by Trout during the first of his MVP seasons. The bat shows great game use and is un-cracked. Just as you want to see in the bat of that year’s MVP, the barrel has numerous ball marks with several white either ball scuffs. As is the norm with Trout gamer, the upper handle and center brand has a heavy coat of pine tar and the lower handle and knob has been wrapped in adhesive tape to enhance the grip. Trout has signed the barrel in silver pen, proudly adding “14 G/U MVP”. The bat comes with a full LOA from Anderson Authentics for the signature and LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12662) for the game use, and has been given a perfect GU 10 grade.
