San Francisco Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval wore this gray Giants road jersey on May 5th, 2014 against the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park. The Giants won this game 11-10 in 13 innings, winning on a Jean Machi sacrifice bunt followed by an E1. Sandoval went 1-4 in this game, scoring a run on Brandon Crawford’s sixth inning sacrifice fly. Sandoval had an excellent 2014 campaign, putting up a Triple Crown slash line of .279/16/73 while leading the Giants to their third World Series title in five seasons. Sandoval hit for an average of .429 with an OPS of 1.002 in 30 World Series plate appearances as the Giants defeated the Kansas City Royals in a seven-game Fall Classic. Sandoval scored what would wind up being the winning run of the World Series, scoring the third run of the game against the Royals in a Game 7 that would finish 3-2.

This offered Giants road jersey is a gray button-down, with “SAN FRANCISCO” sewn across the chest in black, orange, and gold tackle twill. “SANDOVAL” and his number “48” are sewn on the back of the jersey in the same fashion. A Giants logo patch and a Majestic logo are sewn on the left sleeve. A large dirt stain is present on the chest of this jersey. A Majestic size “52” tag is applied to the front left tail. Sandoval has signed the “8” digit on the back of the jersey in silver marker, inscribing “48”, “Game Used”, “14 W.S Champs”, and “Kung Fu Panda” in addition to his signature. This jersey comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (Y61723) for Sandoval’s signature and a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 117345) for use during the May 5th contest.
