San Francisco Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval wore this cream-colored Giants home uniform on July 1st, 2014, during the Giants 5-0 shutout of the St. Louis Cardinals at AT&T Park. Sandoval connected on his 100th career homer during this game, taking Marco Gonzalez deep on a two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Venezuelan third baseman finished the game 2-3 with a walk as the Giants rode Tim Lincecum’s eight innings of shutout ball to a comfortable victory over St. Louis.

Sandoval finished the 2014 season with an excellent Triple Crown slash line of .279/16/73 while hitting .429 in the Giants seven-game victory over the Kansas City Royals in the World Series. The first item in this lot is Sandoval’s cream-colored button-down Giants home jersey. The jersey has “GIANTS” sewn across the chest in black, orange, and gold tackle twill, while Sandoval’s number “48” is sewn across the back of the jersey in the same fashion. A Giants logo patch is sewn on the right sleeve above a Majestic logo. A Majestic tag with attached size “52” and “2014” flags is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. Sandoval has signed the “8” digit on the back of the jersey in silver marker, inscribing “Game Used” and “July 1, 2014 Career HR #100” in addition to his signature. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 126939) and a COA from PSA/DNA (Y61720) for Sandoval’s signature.

Also included in this lot are Sandoval’s cream-colored home pants from the July 1st game. The pants have an orange-black-orange stripe running down each leg and a black and white Majestic logo patch sewn above the back-left pocket. The pants are heavily dirt stained, especially down the right leg. Sandoval has signed the left leg in black marker, inscribing “Game Used July 1, 2014 Career H.R #100” in addition to his signature. Team repairs are present on the back of the left leg and a small rip is present on the back-right leg. A Majestic tag and a “48 38-45 35 OB” swatch are sewn on the back inside waistband. These pants come with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 126952) and a COA from PSA/DNA (Y61719). Please note that the “HZ” prefix is not visible on the MLB Hologram, however this is the correct alpha-numeric code for the pants.
