San Francisco Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval wore this gray Giants road jersey during Game 1 of the 2014 World Series at Kauffman Stadium against the Kansas City Royals. Sandoval opened the scoring in the first inning with an RBI double off Royals starter James Shields before scoring on Hunter Pence’s two-run blast with two outs in the bottom of the first. In the top of the seventh, Sandoval’s RBI single off Tim Collins pushed the Giants lead to 7-0 in their eventual 7-1 victory. Sandoval continued to provide clutch hitting throughout the World Series, collecting a .429 batting average with four RBI in the Giants seven-game defeat of their American League foes.

This gray, button-down road jersey has “SAN FRANCISCO” sewn across the chest of the jersey in black, orange, and gold tackle twill. “SANDOVAL” and his number “38” are sewn across the back shoulders in black, orange, and gold tackle twill. A Giants logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve, while a 2014 World Series patch is sewn on the right. Black piping accents the chest and collar, while an orange-black-orange band accents each sleeve. A Majestic tag with attached “2014” and size “52” flags is sewn on the front left tail. Sandoval has signed the “8” digit on the back of the jersey in silver marker, inscribing “Game Used 2014 World Series” and “W.S. Champs Game #1” below his signature. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 379661) and a COA from PSA/DNA (Y61721).
