For Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, the 2015-16 season was a historic one. His league-leading 30.1 points per game and record-setting 402 three-point season long performance, led his Warriors to set the NBA regular season win record with 73, eclipsing the mighty 1995-96 Chicago Bulls 72-win campaign. This earned Curry his second consecutive MVP award, and first ever unanimous choice for MVP.
Curry began prepping for his historic season during the October 13, 2015 pre-season game against the Denver Nuggets at ORACLE Arena in Oakland by wearing these white with blue and yellow trimmed Under Armour sneakers. These size 12 ½ sneakers have been photo matched by MeiGray to the October 13th game. Curry’s personal logo is affixed in blue to the top of the tongue. The laces are white, with blue accenting and blue aglets with “SC” printed in blue.
The soles of each shoe are yellow with the heel supports in blue. The sneakers display moderate game use and Curry has signed each shoe on the toe in black marker. Curry has also inscribed “I can do all things…” in black marker on the outside of the left shoe and “Romans 8:28” on the inside of the left shoe. Curry inscribed “WSC” on the outside toe of the right shoe in black marker as well. A terrific set of game used Steph Curry sneakers and they come with a LOA from The MeiGray Group (003619) who have photo matched these sneakers and individual holograms from Fanatics (1095676 & 195677). Additionally, there is a LOA from JSA (Z02796) for his signatures and inscriptions.
