Houston Astros star shortstop Carlos Correa wore this orange alternate Astros jersey in three games during his rookie season of 2015. The first, on September 13th, 2015, was a 5-3 Astros road win over the Los Angeles Angels. The Astros scored all five runs in the top of the ninth inning, with Correa scoring the go-ahead run on Jed Lowrie’s three-run jack in the top of the ninth. Correa finished this game 1-4 with a walk and a run. The second game this jersey was worn on took place on September 17th against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Correa finished this game, an 8-2 Rangers win, 2-4 with a double. In this jersey’s final contest, the Astros defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 21-5 at Chase Field on October 2nd. Correa hit the 22nd and final homer of his rookie season in this game and drove in three runs in the seventh inning on his first career triple.
