New York Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy wore this gray Mets road jersey during the first two games of the 2015 National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. In Game 1, Murphy connected on a solo home run off Clayton Kershaw in the fourth inning to break the game’s 0-0 scoreline open. The Mets would go on to win 3-1, with ace Jacob deGrom outdueling Kershaw in an instant classic. Game 2 went the Dodgers way as Zack Greinke, Chris Hatcher, and Kenley Jansen held the Mets offense in check to win 5-2. Murphy finished Game 2 1-4 with a fourth inning single. The Mets would go on to win this series in five games, advancing to the World Series on the back of Murphy, the 2015 National League Championship Series MVP. Murphy hit seven postseason homers during the Mets run, tying him for second all-time in single-season postseason home runs.

This offered Mets jersey is a gray button-down, with “NEW YORK” and Murphy’s number “28” sewn on the chest in blue and orange tackle twill. “MURPHY” and a second “28” are sewn on the back of the jersey in blue and orange tackle twill. A 2015 Postseason patch is sewn on the right sleeve and a circular Mets logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve above a blue Majestic logo. An MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A Majestic size “46” tag is applied to the front left tail. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 836470) dating the use of the jersey to Game 2 of the NLDS, while a LOA from Resolution Photomatching photo matches the jersey to Game 1 of the 2015 NLDS. Additionally, there is a LOA from MEARS (315795) for the game use and has been graded a perfect A10.
