In 2015, Boston’s “Big Papi” David Ortiz became only the 27th player in history to reach 500 home runs. He hit 37 that season while batting .271 as the Red Sox’ veteran DH. This offered Marucci DO34 model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use and was used by Oritz in 2015. The barrel shows several ball marks and stitch impressions and the upper handle has a medium coat of pine tar. The lower handle has been wrapped with green adhesive to enhance the grip. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15229) who have photo matched this bat and graded it a perfect GU 10.
