On October, 2015, Rays third baseman Evan Longoria took Jose Fernandez deep with a 1st inning home run to Tropicana Field’s left field. The solo blast helped the Rays dispose of their in-state rival Miami Marlins 4-1. This is the Louisville Slugger I13 model bat Longoria used to hit that home run. The bat shows good game use with a heavy coat of pine tar and a cracked handle. Longoria has signed the barrel in blue marker adding “Game Used October 1, 2015 Marlins vs. TB HR off Pitcher Jose Fernandez”. The bat was broken the following day on October 2nd against Aaron Sanchez of the Toronto Blue Jays. The bat comes with MLB Authenticated hologram (LH364377) for the game use specific to the home run hit off of Fernandez and the at-bat against Sanchez.
