In 2015 Giancarlo Stanton signed the richest contract in sports history, a 13-year, $325 million dollar contract that made him a Marlin for life. The slugger celebrated by hitting one of his trademark tape measure blasts, beating his own long-distance record at Marlins Park, a 474-foot shot. Stanton finished up 2015 by becoming only the fifth player since 1962 to hit a ball out of Dodger Stadium. Stanton’s 2015 Marucci G27-M model bat shows moderate use with several prominent ball marks on the barrel. There are several stitch impressions and cleat imprints visible and Stanton’s number “27” and the bat’s specs have been stamped into the knob end. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18200) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5.
