Entering his fourth season in the league, Mike Trout was the 2012 American League Rookie of the Year and 2014 AL MVP and finished in second place for the 2013 AL MVP vote. Trout kept his Hall of Fame pace going in 2015 as he hit a career-high 41 home runs and drove in 90 with a .298 batting average. He would again finish second in the AL MVP vote in 2015, but the groundwork for a Hall of Fame career has been established. Trout connected for his 130th career home run during the July 31st game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.

This offered Old Hickory MT27* model bat was used by Trout to hit his 32nd home run of the 2015 season and 130th of his continually booming career. Trout’s home run came off of Dodgers’ closer Kenley Jansen in the top of the ninth inning. Trout, while using this bat, collected three hits during this game including a single and a triple, nearly hitting for the cycle. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. There is a moderate coating of pine tar on the upper handle and coating of Mota stick on the lower handle. The lower handle and knob have been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. Trout has signed this impressive gamer in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “HR #32 vs Dodgers”. This bat has been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the July 31st game and have provided a corresponding LOA (426154). Additionally, there is a LOA from Anderson Authentics (2315) who have authenticated this bat’s use by Trout during the July 31st game and his signature.
