100 career home runs and 100 career stolen bases - all before his 24th birthday - that’s what Mike Trout’s 2015 looked like. During the All-Star Game he hit a lead-off home run and then became the first and only player to be named the game’s MVP in back-to-back years. By the end of the season he’d hit 41 homers, only the second player in the history of the Angels franchise to reach that mark and was runner up for the third time in four years for league MVP.
Often overshadowed by his brute offensive output is Trout’s masterful fielding. The burly slugger is right at home in any big league outfield and he and his glove are frequent stars on the “play of the day” highlight reels. This Nike Elite 12.75” outfielder’s glove was used by Trout during the 2015 season. The glove shows light use and is constructed from black top-grade steer hide and attractively trimmed in contrasting red lacing and welting. The glove has pro-style “sixth finger” web and outside of the ring finger has a grey and white camouflage design. The soft suede-type leather pocket displays light use and there is slight scuffing on the finger tips. The red leather lacing is intact and original. The red and white raised embroidered Nike swoosh is intact and “Mike Trout is embroidered in red on the outside of the thumb. The Angels phenom has signed just below in silver pen adding “15 G/U”. This game used and signed glove comes with a letter of authenticity from Anderson Authentics (1751) and PSA/DNA (1G00300) for the game use.
