Boston Red Sox star young outfielder Mookie Betts wore this jersey on June 21st, 2015, during a 13-2 beat down of the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium. Betts, the leadoff hitter for the Sox, went 3-5 in this game, falling only a single short of the cycle. Betts helped break the game open in the fifth inning with a two-run bomb to left field, pushing the score to 4-0 and giving starting pitcher Wade Miley all the cushion he would need to win the game.

     In the very next inning, Betts drew a walk, promptly scoring from first base on a Travis Shaw double to push the score to an unassailable 8-0. Betts led off the eighth inning with his third hit, a triple to deep center field, with the next batter, Brock Holt, hitting another triple to score Betts.
