Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is widely considered the top all-around quarterback in the NFL, as he has led the Chiefs to back-to-back Super Bowl appearances, while winning Super Bowl LIV. Mahomes’ combination of quick feet and pinpoint passing, makes him a lethal dual-threat QB. Coming out of high school, Mahomes was not only a top prospect in football, but a top prospect in baseball and was selected by the Detroit Tigers, but ultimately decided to attend Texas Tech University.

During his sophomore season with the Red Raiders in 2015, Mahomes would finish the season with 4,653 yards and 36 touchdowns. While wearing this offered road white Texas Tech jersey, Mahomes combined for 743 yards and 5 touchdowns in victories over SEC foe Arkansas on September 19th and Big 12 conference rivals Texas on November 26th. During the Arkansas game, Mahomes was 26 of 30 passing with 1 passing touchdown and 2 rushing touchdowns. Mahomes threw for 243 passing yards and had a QBR of 152.4 in the 35-24 road victory. Facing the University of Texas in Austin on November 26th, Mahomes was 22 of 39 passing for 372 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 70 yards and 1 touchdown in the 48-45 win.

This offered white road jersey was made by Under Armour and has Mahomes’ number “5” sewn on in red and black tackle twill on the front and back. “TEXAS TECH” is sewn on across the chest in the same red and black tackle twill with the Big 12 “XII” logo patch on the upper right chest and the Under Armour logo in black on the upper left chest. The sleeves are shortened and tailored to fit around the shoulder pads, with the right sleeve having the interlocking double-T’s Texas Tech logo. A “TEXAS TECH AUTHENTIC” label is sewn on the inside middle back and has “44” and “15” flags indicating the size and year of this jersey. This jersey displays light to moderate game use with some stains, holes and team repairs. This jersey comes with a COA from Texas Tech, signed by Director of Equipment Operations Zane Perry, who authenticates that this “#5 jersey” was worn during victories over Arkansas and Texas during the 2015 season.
