Drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 2015 draft, Andrew Benintendi quickly rose through the minors and debuted with the big club on August 2nd, 2016. Ranked the #1 Prospect in all of Major League Baseball by Baseball America, Benintendi hit .295 in 34 games with a pair of home runs and 14 RBI. The Marucci RC24-M Pro Model bat shows outstanding use with a handle crack and a heavy coating of pine tar on the upper handle. There are many ball marks and blue ink transfers visible on the barrel. Benintendi’s initials “AB” have been stamped into the knob and he has signed the barrel with “16 GU” in black marker.
