Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa wore these heavily customized Adidas cleats during the 2016 MLB season. Correa, the 2015 American League Rookie of the Year, had an excellent season in 2016, hitting 20 homers with 96 RBI, 36 doubles, and a .274 batting average for the 84-78 Astros. Correa, who would lead the Astros to their first ever World Series title in 2017, is one of the best young middle infielders in the game and a future MVP candidate.

These low-top Adidas Energy Icon are hand painted to honor Correa’s family, with “Familia” painted in Astros colors on the right cleat. Three orange Adidas stripes are applied to the outside of each shoe, and Correa’s number “1” is applied to each tongue. “Team Adidas” is printed inside the right cleat while “Familia” is printed inside the left cleat. The soles are silver and orange, and each feature seven metal spikes. Correa has signed each cleat in black marker, inscribing “Opening Day 4-5-16” on each cleat. These shoes come with a LOA from JSA for the signatures and a LOA from JT Sports for game use.
