Legendary Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz wore these high-top New Balance baseball cleats during the 2016 MLB season, his final year in the Majors. Ortiz left Red Sox fans wanting more, finishing the year with 38 home runs and the American League RBI crown. “Big Papi” hit .315 during his final campaign, earning an All-Star nod and the American League Silver Slugger award for the designated hitter position. During the 2017 MLB season, the Red Sox honored Ortiz by retiring his number “34” jersey, placing him in the company of Red Sox heroes like Ted Williams and Carl Yastrzemski.

These cleats are white and black, with a primarily red New Balance logo on each side of the cleat. A Dominican Republic crest is printed on the tongue of each cleat. An image of Ortiz pointing to the sky is applied to the inside of each tongue. “34” is applied to each heel in navy blue and red. “809” is printed on the toe of each of these size 12 cleats. Ortiz signed each toe in blue marker, adding the inscription “2016 GU” to the left cleat. These spikes come with a LOA from David Ortiz.
