Lefty David Price was the prize acquisition for the Boston Red Sox, who were coming of back-to-back losing seasons. While wearing this home Boston Red Sox button-down Majestic size 48 jersey during the April 16th contest against division rival Toronto, Price pitched seven innings to help lead the Red Sox to a 4-2 victory over the Blue Jays at Fenway Park. Price surrendered only two runs on six hits, while striking out nine and not allowing a walk. Price’s jersey features “RED SOX” sewn across the chest in Tuscan font with red and navy tackle twill. Red piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. The Majestic tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail, with an additional Majestic bar code tag that reads “#24 PRICE 2016 48T -1S” screen printed vertically at the base of the buttons. The back of the jersey has a ChromoFlex MLB logo on the upper back with Price’s number “24” in McAuliffe font sewn on in red and navy tackle twill. The left sleeve has the Majestic logo embroidered in navy, while the sides of the jersey and tail have a white mesh material. This jersey displays light game use and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB042172) dating this jersey worn by Price on April 16th. There is also a Fanatics hologram (AA0002451), which also authenticates Price wore this jersey on April 16th against the Blue Jays.
