Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia wore this offered home jersey during the Red Sox April 27th, 2016 game against the Atlanta Braves. The Red Sox, American League East Division champions in 2016, defeated Atlanta 9-4 thanks in large part to the two home runs Pedroia hit while wearing this very jersey. Pedroia finished 3-5 in the game with the two home runs and five RBI. Pedroia ended the year with a .321 batting average, with 15 home runs and 74 RBI.

This Majestic Flex Base jersey features the iconic Tuscan font “RED SOX” sewn across the chest in red and navy tackle twill. Red piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. The Majestic size 44 tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail, while an additional barcode tag that has been partially cut-off and reads “#15 PEDROIA 2 (cut off) 44-2B” is screen-printed on the center tail. The bottom of this jersey has been trimmed.

The back of the jersey has “15” sewn on in McAuliffe style numbering red and navy tackle twill. A rubberized MLB logo patch is sewn on the upper back neck above the piping. This jersey displays heavy game use with large dirt stains on the front and scattered stains throughout. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JB377824), which authenticates that this jersey was worn by Pedroia during the April 27th game.
