Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia wore this jersey during the Red Sox June 25th, 2016 road tilt against the Texas Rangers. The Red Sox, American League East Division champions in 2016, fell to the Rangers by a score of 10-3 on June 25th. Pedroia finished 1-4 in the Steven Wright start. Pedroia ended the year with a .321 batting average, with 15 home runs and 74 RBI.
This gray, button down jersey has “BOSTON” sewn across the chest in red on navy blue tackle twill. “PEDROIA” and his number “15” are sewn across the back of the jersey in red and navy blue tackle twill below a vinyl MLB logo. A Red Sox dual-sock logo has been sewn on the left sleeve above a red Majestic logo. A Majestic size “44” tag has been applied to the front left tail of the jersey. The bottom of the jersey has been cut, likely to shorten it for the diminutive 2009 American League MVP. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 781056).
