Cincinnati Reds All-Star first baseman Joey Votto wore this red Reds alternate jersey on September 13th, 2016 against the Milwaukee Brewers. Votto went 3-4 with two RBI and two runs scored in the Reds 6-4 victory over the Brewers. Votto hit his 24th home run of the season, and the 216th of his career, in the first inning off Brewers starter Matt Garza. The 2010 NL MVP turned in another excellent year in 2016, hitting .326 with 29 homers and 97 RBI, plus a National League best .434 on-base percentage.

This red button-down jersey has the Reds wishbone “C” logo sewn on the left chest and Votto’s number “19” sewn on the right chest in white, red, and black tackle twill. “VOTTO” and a second “19” are sewn on the back of the jersey in white, red, and black tackle twill. A ChromaFlex MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A memorial patch for Bernie Stowe is sewn on the right sleeve, and a Mr. Redlegs patch is sewn on the left sleeve. White soutache accents the placket and sleeves. A Majestic FlexBase size “44” tag is applied to the front left tail of the jersey and a second Majestic tag is applied to the placket. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 393393).
