Jose Abreu followed his rookie season with the same kind of stats that won him the 2014 American League Rookie of the Year honors. In 2016, the season this bat dates to, he batted .293 with 25 home runs and drove in 100. This Marucci AP5P-M model bat shows outstanding use with a crack on the top barrel. The barrel shows ball marks with white leather ball scuffs and there is a medium coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The lower handle has been rapped with adhesive tape to enhance the grip. Abreu has signed the barrel in silver adding his number “79.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15225) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5 and a COA from Onyx for the signature.
