Offered in this lot is a Spalding basketball used during the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks game on February 22nd, 2016. The ball has been signed and inscribed by the Lakers future Hall of Fame guard Kobe Bryant. Bryant would go on to play in 18 more games before retiring, going out against the Utah Jazz with a legendary 60-point explosion in his final contest. In this matchup against the Bucks at the BMO Bradley Harris Center in Milwaukee, Bryant scored 15 points in the Lakers 108-101 defeat. The former Lower Merion High School star added five rebounds, two assists, and a steal as Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks earned the victory. “The Greek Freak” finished with a triple-double of 27 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds on 12-17 shooting, with four blocks and three steals added in for good measure.
This offered Spalding basketball is an official Adam Silver game ball, with “BUCKS 2015-16” stamped on the basketball. Bryant has signed the ball in silver marker, adding the inscriptions “#24” and “2-22-16” to his signature. This basketball comes with a LOA from Fanatics co-signed by the Bucks equipment manager (385950).
