At the tender age of 23, Matt Duffy won a World Championship with the San Francisco Giants, and the following year he became the first rookie to win the Willie Mac Award as the Giants’ most inspirational player. He came in a close second for the Rookie of the Year Award and Tampa Bay eagerly sought out his services in 2016 as they looked for a star in which to rebuild their franchise around.

Duffy used this MAX Bat I13L model bat during the 2016 season. This bat displays moderate use and is un-cracked. There are several ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and black bat rack streaks on the barrel. There is a light coating of pine tar on the upper handle/lower barrel and Duffy’s number “5” is affixed to the knob in a black and orange Schutte sticker and hand written in black marker on the cupped barrel end. Duffy signed his name in blue marker on the barrel and inscribed “5” and “Game-Used 2016”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12623) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9. There is also a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (B53027) for the signature.
