Former Chicago Cubs catcher Miguel Montero was a key contributor to the Cubs team that finally won a World Series after 108 years. In 88 games, Montero hit eight home runs and had 33 RBI. Offered here is a rare game used bat from Montero’s World Series Champions stint with the Chicago Cubs.

This Zinger MM47 model bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. The bat has a cupped end and there are numerous ball marks, ball stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and white leather scuff marks that are present on the barrel. Other marks on the barrel include cleat marks and there is a heavy coating of pine tar on the lower handle. Montero’s number “47” is handwritten in silver marker with a black box outline in on the knob end, along with the handwritten model number “MM47” and the bat’s length and weight “34 30.9”.

Montero signed his name in bold silver marker on the black barrel and inscribed “47”, “2016 Game Used” and “2016 WS Champs”. This is wonderful opportunity to own a piece of Cubs’ history for their most memorable season. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B11923) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10. Additionally, there is a STICKER ONLY from Schwartz Sports Memorabilia (A224221) for his signature.
