After finally winning the MVP Award in 2014, Mike Trout kept his Hall of Fame-bound output coming. In 2015 he became the youngest player to reach 100 home runs and 100 stolen bases, making him a finalist for that year’s MVP Award, the fourth consecutive season of being so honored. Trout didn’t win the MVP that year, but in 2016 he did, hitting .315 with 29 homers, 30 stolen bases and 100 RBI, leading the league in runs scored, walks and on-base-percentage. If you’re keeping score, that’s two MVP Awards and a finalist in all his five seasons he’s been in the Majors - and he’s only 25!

Trout’s MVP season-used Old Hickory Pro Maple MT27* model bat shows excellent game use and is un-cracked. The barrel had numerous ball marks with stitch impressions and cleat imprints. The upper handle and center brand has a heavy coat of pine tar and the lower handle has been wrapped in gray and white Lizard Skin adhesive to enhance the grip. The 2016 AL MVP has signed the barrel in silver marker, adding “16 G/U”. This is a great gamer showing the kind of wear you’d expect from that year’s Most Valuable Player. The bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15241), who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10. There is also a LOA from Anderson Authentics (2045) for both the game use and Trout’s signature.
