Golden State Warriors point guard and two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry wore these shoes during Game 5 of the 2016 Western Conference Semifinals against the Portland Trailblazers. Curry, who missed the first three games of this series due to injury, returned to his dominant form in this game. Finishing with 29 points and 11 assists, Curry was instrumental in leading the Warriors to a hard fought 125-121 victory on their home court. Although the Warriors lost to the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, Curry still had what is arguably the greatest offensive season in modern NBA history, sinking an unprecedented 402 three pointers in the regular season. For his efforts, he became the first unanimous NBA MVP since the inception of the award.

These shoes, the Under Armour Curry 2.5 model, come in a blue and yellow Warriors colorway. The Under Armour logo, as well as Curry’s personal logo, is present on the outside heel of each shoe. The left shoe features the inscriptions “’I can do all things…’” and “Romans 8:28” each side of the toe, with “NBA Rec[ord] 73-9” on the right heel. The left shoe features Curry’s signature on the left heel and “WSC” for Wardell Stephen Curry on the right toe. All signatures and inscriptions are written in silver marker. The sole of each shoe has “5-11-16”, the date of the game these shoes were worn for, written in black pen. These shoes show excellent signs of game use consistent with use in the playoffs. These size 12.5 shoes come with a Fanatics authenticated hologram (left: GUBK-00119, right GUBK-00120)
