Colorado Rockies All-Star shortstop Trevor Story wore this Rockies batting helmet during spring training in 2016. Story hit .340 during Cactus League play to earn a spot on the big league roster, making his MLB debut on April 4th with a two-homer, four-RBI performance in a 10-5 Rockies victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field. Story played in 97 games during his rookie season, hitting .272 with 27 homers and 72 RBI in an incredible debut campaign. Story was named to the National League All-Star team in 2018 and 2019 and is one of the best hitting shortstops in the game today.
This offered Rockies batting helmet has the “CR” logo applied to the front. The helmet has a flap over the left ear. Story has signed the brim of the batting helmet in silver marker. The helmet comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication Services (A52513) for Story’s signature and an MLB Authenticated hologram (JB638523) for use during spring training by the Rockies shortstop.
