The black bat with white engraving features the signatures of 13 members of the 2016 World Series champion Cubs and manager Joe Maddon in light blue marker on the black barrel. The 13 players who signed this bat include: Addison Russell, Anthony Rizzo, World Series MVP Ben Zobrist, Dexter Fowler, Hector Rondon, Jason Hammel, Javier Baez, Jorge Soler, National League MVP Kris Bryant, Kyle Hendricks, Miguel Montero, Pedro Strop and Trevor Cahill. The Cubs defeated the Cleveland Indians in seven games in the 2016 World Series, their first appearance since the 1945 World Series and first win since the 1908 World Series.
