Boston Red Sox all-star shortstop Xander Bogaerts is one of the key players that have led the resurgence of the Red Sox during the 2016 season. Bogaerts has emerged as one of the Major League’s bright young stars and is a key foundation piece for the Red Sox. Bogaerts used this Rawlings PRODJ2 fielder’s glove during the 2016 season.

This glove is top grade tanned “Heart of the Hide” steer hide bound with tanned rawhide laces. Displaying excellent game use, this glove also includes three horizontal and two vertical lined webbing with a special soft sheepskin palm and conventional back that has an adjustable fleece-lined wrist strap. The Rawlings label is on the back of the wrist and the Rawlings circle “R” logo appear on the back of the thumb. The year code “BEB” and factory code “C23” appear on the back of the pinky. The outer thumb has “Xander Bogaerts” embroidered in red and “Rawlings” is embroidered in red along the outside of the index finger. Bogaerts has signed his name in black marker on the outside middle finger and inscribed “GU 2016.” This glove comes with a HOLO only from Anderson Authentics (3167) for the game use and signature.
