Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts wore these New Balance cleats during the 2016 postseason. The Red Sox faced the Cleveland Indians in the American League Division Series, putting forth a strong effort in the best-of-five series but ultimately lost two close games in the series sweep by the Tribe.ry. Bogaerts made the first All-Star team of his career in 2016, hitting 21 homers with 89 RBI and a .294 batting average for the 93-69 Red Sox.

These cleats are primarily white, with red and blue accents. Gold New Balance logos are applied to each side of the cleats. Eight metal spikes are present on the soles of these cleats. Brown New Balance tags are sewn on each tongue, and Bogaert’s number “2” is embroidered on the heel of each cleat. Bogaerts has signed the toe of each cleat in black marker, inscribing “Postseason GU 2016” below each signature. These cleats come with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (3212, 3213).
