Blackmon hit his 18th home run of the season in the first game, a solo shot against Luis Castillo in the fourth inning of the Rockies 5-3 victory. This was the 92nd home run of Blackmon’s career. The bearded slugger finished this game 1-3 with a walk, RBI, and two runs scored. The second game that Blackmon wore this jersey in finished 8-1, with the Reds cruising behind a Homer Bailey quality start.
