Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve wore this white Astros home jersey on July 15th, 2017, during the Astros 4-2 home loss to the Minnesota Twins. Altuve crushed a solo home run in the third inning of this game, his 14th of the season and the 74th longball of his career. Altuve, the 2017 American League MVP, finished this game 1-4 with an HBP. The diminutive second baseman led the Astros to their first ever World Series title in 2017 after leading the American League in hits (204) and the Majors in batting average (.346) during the regular season.

This button-down home jersey has “ASTROS” and Altuve’s number “27” sewn on the chest in navy and orange tackle twill. “ALTUVE” and a second “27” are sewn on the back of the jersey in navy and orange tackle twill. A ChromaFlex MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar, and a circular Astros logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve. The sides and back tail of this FlexBase jersey are made of a white mesh fabric. A Majestic size “40” tag is applied to the front left tail of this jersey. This jersey shows light use, and it is accompanied by a MLB Authenticated hologram (JC 422134), which states that this jersey was worn until the middle of the fourth inning of the July 15th contest. Additionally, this jersey comes with a LOA from MEARS, who have assigned it a perfect grade of A10.
